Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of software development experience in Python with Pandas and ML packages
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- A hands-on approach to solving complex problems & building impactful solutions
- A proven track record in learning new technologies and applying that learning quickly
- An understanding of what it takes to build quality, robust, and scalable solutions
- A sense of flexibility and self-drive to work autonomously and within a team
- Experience with AWS and Docker
- Knowledge of ad tech a plus
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
What the job involves
- Collaborate with team members to design, implement and deliver high quality software solutions
- Share technical expertise and contribute to a culture of learning and knowledge sharing
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes
- Contribute to the improvement of software development processes and practices
- Play a crucial role in achieving company objectives by delivering high quality software solutions that meet the customer needs
- Lead the development and implementation of software projects from inception to deployment
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, adherence to coding standards and ensure best practices are followed
- Identify and address technical challenges, optimize code for performance and participate in ongoing code refactoring
- Work with our technology stack: Python, Pandas, FastAPI, AWS, Postgres, Snowflake, Redshift, Kinesis, Docker, and more!

Due to the rise in mobile and smart devices in recent years, the way in which advertisement publishers must format their ads is changing. A key example of this is TV, advertisements that present immediate calls to action within a Connected TV user interface, but publishing ads in such a format is currently inaccessible to most publishers.
Magnite provides a sell-side omnichannel advertisement platform for publishers, focused on facilitating the selling of advertising on all formats including CTV, mobile, desktop, and audio. In addition to facilitating the buying and selling of omnichannel ads, the company also provides a real-time ad performance dashboard, data protection and compliance tools, and insights into buying and selling patterns.
Whilst other omnichannel advertisement platforms present significant competition to the company, Magnite stands out by providing an end-to-end marketplace for the buying, selling, management, and analysis of ads.
