What the job involves
- Answer and route incoming calls from the Homeward main line from 8AM to 8PM in all active markets
- During normal business hours, route calls to the appropriate team member
- During evening and weekend shifts, handle calls as needed to get the customer answers while other team members are out of the office
- Become an expert in all Homeward processes to be able to support agents and customers
- Proficient understanding of Salesforce to provide necessary support of contract management
- Strong ability to read and understand contracts and Homeward offer instructions for states assigned
- Review incoming contracts to ensure accuracy and work with agents to correct any items needed while providing excellent service
- Work within internal systems to ensure the customer is approved for the offer their agent has submitted prior to signing
- Review & Sign all incoming contracts and amendments
- Strong technical skills to manage workload and communication in multiple platforms
- Attend weekly 1-1 with Team Lead or Manager
- Attend regular team syncs and trainings
- Log detailed and accurate notes, and keep systems and records up to date
- Proficient in e-signature programs such as Docusign, Authentisign, and dotloop
- This is a temporary, full-time, three-month, hourly position and will require weekend availability
Our take
Sellers historically favour more dependable all-cash purposes, but few are in a position to offer them. Homeward allows customers to make all-cash purchases on new homes through the company, which buys on their behalf and sells to the customer once they’ve closed on their existing home.
By providing a seamless experience under three companies, it is a comprehensive service covering the home-buying process start to finish. Homeward's solution is elegant, and proving hugely popular - it is currently oversubscribed in markets across the country. It’s a new, innovative development in a legacy industry in dire need of change.
Importantly, Homeward is attractive to investors, and the Austin-based company are no doubt additionally cashing in on the increased VC interest in the growing Texas tech scene. Further, following its success in the Texas, Georgia, and Colorado markets, Homeward is planning to go nationwide with its real estate solution. It has already extended to Florida and Arizona, and looks to conquer more states in the future.
