Who you are

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of professional experience in backend software development
Strong experience with Spring Boot and Java/Kotlin
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI
Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices

What the job involves

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend systems using Spring Boot and Java/Kotlin
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements for new features and enhancements
Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and industry standards
Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
Debug and resolve software defects and issues
Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and security of our backend systems
Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning sessions
Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our backend systems stay current and competitive
