Who you are
- College student graduating in Spring/Summer of 2024 with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, Go, C#, Javascript)
- (Preferred) Regularly participate in CTF, bug bounty hunting, and hackathons (bonus points if you share your BugCrowd/HackerOne profiles)
- Are comfortable in fast-paced, early-stage company environments
What the job involves
- We are looking to hire an Application Security Engineer to join our growing Security Team
- This is a hands-on role, working on both SeatGeek’s codebase and in the AWS cloud environment
- This role will be involved with a mix of bug hunting, automation, bug triaging, and incident response
- You'll be part of a team developing a modern AppSec program with a highly automated approach to security coupled with a collaborative approach to working with Engineering partners
- Identify and fix bugs in our production codebase
- Develop automation to enhance bug triage and remediation
- Analyze security vulnerabilities and advise on mitigation
- Participate in red team and blue team exercises
- Tune our scanning tools to increase their accuracy
