Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in order management or a related field in a tech or software company
- Proficiency in Salesforce is mandatory
- CPQ experience is a strong advantage
- Experience with NetSuite is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What the job involves
- As the Senior Manager of the Deal Desk function you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the deal approval process within the organization
- This role involves collaborating with sales teams, finance, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deal processing, while also implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Oversee the end-to-end deal approval process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to streamline deal management workflow
- Serve as a liaison between sales, finance, and legal teams, facilitating communication and collaboration to resolve deal-related issues
- Provide training and support to sales teams on deal desk processes, tools, and systems
- Manage special projects related to deal desk operations, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals
- Own requirements for new SKU and Pricing modules
- Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards to track pricing and Sku discounts/performance, turnaround times, and bottlenecks
