Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of data analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered
OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of data analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field)
(1) SQL; (2) Python; (3) Oracle; (4) Data Warehousing; (5) Hadoop; (6) Spark; (7) Tableau; (8) Data Models; (9) MapReduce; and (10) Hive. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted
Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required

What the job involves

Design and build extremely efficient and reliable data pipelines to move data across a variety of data sources and systems
Automate the data pipelines to manage them better and also be responsible for their data quality
Design and build new data entities that provide intuitive analytics and reporting to business partners and customers
Use expert coding skills across a number of tools and languages to design data solutions as well as build frameworks for data integration
Troubleshoot and fix data queries/issues raised by end users and ensure the data processing to support day to day business processes is efficient and uninterrupted
Improve existing data processes for quicker turn-around and high productivity
Collaboratively work with data science, Product and IT Teams in an agile environment, to meet deadlines
Partner with business teams to understand their data needs and design, develop and deploy data solutions to meet them.
