The growing cloud-computing sector is creating a number of issues for companies developing enterprise-grade software. Increasing configuration complexity, growing web demands, and innovation in the field mean defining and taking a product to market in a competitive field can be tough. This is where Sagetap comes in. Sagetap pools together data analytics, data management, DevOps, and cybersecurity experts who are made available for unbiased, hour-long consultations to help companies monitor competition and ensure their product tightly meets market demand.

Sagetap is a relatively new addition to the cloud computing sector, but by focusing intensely on high-growth companies developing enterprise software it is hitching its wagon to a rapidly expanding market. Forecasts anticipate the cloud computing market to be pushing a $1 trillion global valuation by 2026, with an increasing proportion of this is coming from the fast-growth startups Sagetap addresses.

Sagetap clients include Pecan and Lightspin, both of which raised impressive funding in 2021. Whether Sagetap can claim some credit for this is difficult to tell, but it is certainly running an interesting business model in a highly lucrative space.
