What the job involves
- As part of Moment of Truth, you are the point of contact for our customers. Together with the tech team, the Claims team, and the Customer Service team, you will be responsible for always providing a simple, transparent, and caring service for our customers
- As a Product Manager in Claims Satisfaction Tribe your mission will be to constantly improve all aspects of users' experience related to filing and processing their claims
- You will be responsible for the product development of Artemis, our best-in-class internal Claims management system, and work very closely with our data science team to automate claims sizing & fraud detection
- The satisfaction of our users and whether they stay at Luko after experiencing a claim will rely on you and on how well you manage to make their claims resolution quick and efficient
- You will discover and analyze our users' pain points using dedicated methodologies (interviews, user tests, lean canvas…) and tools (session recordings, heatmaps with Hotjar, data in Amplitude and Looker)
- You will propose hypotheses, design and run user tests to validate them
- You will build an ambitious roadmap for the Claims product, make sure that it is clearly communicated to all the relevant internal stakeholders and that you execute and deliver against it
- Keep a constant eye on your success metrics and find ways to optimize user satisfaction and your business KPIs through our product

Our take
Targeting the staggeringly big home insurance market, Luko delivers a range of insurance options, that leverage smart home devices to help transform home insurance from a reactive model to a proactive, preventative one.
One of the most interesting things about Luko is its "Giveback" policy, that was designed to combat the conflict of interest found in traditional insurance - where the less the policyholder is reimbursed, the more the insurer makes. Luko instead employs a transparent model that directs 30% of contributions to the company, 70% to a pool from which claims are paid, and any money left over at the end of the year is donated to an association chosen by the customer.
The company's ultimate aim is to offer a fully-integrated home care platform, that will encompass comprehensive coverage, prevention, maintenance, and repair. After a tumultuous year for its holding company, Luko agreed to an acquisition by Germany-based Allianz in 2024, which will strengthen the latter's position in France and maintain the core assets of Luko's business, whilst saving jobs and market share.
