Fractional Roles Acquisition Manager, Connectd

• Track record in outbound business development, partnerships or acquisition-style sales — you should be comfortable generating your own pipeline from cold, not just working warm leads
• Ability to nurture and build a network
• Metrics-driven: Comfortable working to a hard volume target and reporting on pipeline weekly
• Interest in the startup and scaleup ecosystem — you'll be talking to founders and operators every day
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to adapt to change and prioritise accordingly

Desirable

• This is an acquisition role. Your job is volume: get as many paid fractional, board advisor, NED/interim director and chairperson roles onto our jobs board as possible, from as many sources as possible. You'll work alongside a counterpart focused on keeping those roles current and getting them filled — your job is the top of the funnel, theirs is everything after a role lands on the platform
• Source roles directly from startups and scaleups already in our CRM that have used Connectd before — this is your warmest, highest-conversion channel and where you should build early momentum
• Monitor and mine external job boards for fractional, board advisor, NED and chair vacancies that could be brought onto Connectd instead
• Build relationships with recruiters, VCs and other intermediaries who regularly place this kind of talent — partners are one of the fastest ways to scale volume once relationships are established, and a channel we expect to matter increasingly as you grow into the role
• Work with onboarding data to identify which new startups joining Connectd have the prerequisites (stage, funding, team gaps) that typically signal a fractional hiring need, and approach them proactively
• Hand off every live role cleanly to your counterpart managing role freshness and fill, with enough detail that it can be marketed and matched properly from day one
