Strong experience with C# .Net developing APIs and integrating with external services

What the job involves

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you’ll be part of a team developing our Traffic Suite products that are enabling local authorities to digitise and share their kerbside and carriageway restrictions
You’ll be collaborating with the rest of the team and product department to understand requirements, evolve our products & infrastructure and build resilient, scalable solutions in the geospatial space that can grow as our business does
Your expertise is valued and you will be encouraged to actively contribute to architecture discussions with other developers working across our product suite and play a big part in moving the platform forward
You should be comfortable working with internal and external customers and be focused on delivering quality supportable solutions

Stage two: A 30-45 technical interview with the engineering team
Final stage: An in-person cultural interview, allowing you to meet several members of the team including our CEO Dan Hubert, our Head of Engineering David Ireland, and a member of our People team

Dan Hubert founded AppyWay after a frustrating experience looking for parking whilst trying to attend a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. He originally started AppyParking, an app designed to show drivers where curbside parking was available, to reduce the average four days a year we spend looking for a parking spot.

To provide live parking data, AppyWay had to digitise old plan drawings, manually mapping out parking zones and working with councils. They are now the curators of London’s largest digital parking database. They realised the potential of curbside data and now also offer the most digitally advanced platform of accurate, standardised data, APIs and tools for smart kerbside management in the world.

Kerbs are crucial in creating smart cities with open spaces. AppyWay have partnered with local councils giving them access to essential curb data and allowing them to improve their cities in many ways. Also Appyway has been able to build partnerships that provide wider value to customers. The company has already partnered with Liberty Charge to integrate curbside management and EV charging management to provide charging point availability updates for their users.
