What the job involves
- Join Mirakl's Business Development team in Paris. As a Business Development Representative for the DACH region, you'll work alongside pioneers transforming e-commerce, in a company supporting over 450 international clients generating more than €8.6 billion in annual business volume
- As a Business Development Representative at Mirakl, you'll be at the heart of our expansion in the German-speaking region. Your mission will be to contribute to our exceptional growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for our marketplace platform and catalog management product
- Develop your marketplace expertise through our Mirakl University training program and some coaching from Sales experts
- Identify and qualify opportunities with major prospects in the DACH region, including retailers, distributors, and B2B companies
- Proactively prospect your market using a multichannel approach (phone, email, LinkedIn)
- Maintain quality relationships through multiple touchpoints with C-Level executives, e-commerce directors, and CFOs from your prospection
- Work in tandem with our Account Executives to build a trustful pipeline of leads from first physical meeting to closing
- Develop a deep understanding of our clients'/prospects' business challenges to better qualify their needs
- Collaborate within an international team in contact with marketing, platform advisory, and legal teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions in Salesforce and track performance KPIs to meet and exceed your objectives

- An initial 45-minute core expertise discussion by zoom with the BDR Manager
- 2 STAR interviews (45 minutes each) with members of the sales team
- A 30-minute sales role-play with your future Manager and a senior Sales
Our take
Mirakl is a SaaS platform that provides the technology and partner ecosystem needed to launch an eCommerce marketplace. There are a couple of major benefits to this : if a store doesn't hold an item a customer wants in stock, it can be sourced seamlessly through marketplace partners, and it allows eCommerce retailers to hold a lot less inventory especially in less-requested lines.
Since its founding in 2012, Mirakl has helped more than 450 companies develop new marketplaces to drive product adoption. It currently works with consumer-facing enterprises, including Macy’s, Decathlon, Best Buy and Sonepar, and industry-specific B2B companies like Airbus Helicopters, Toyota Material Handling and Accor’s Astore.
Mirakl has raised a large amount of capital in multiple rounds of funding. Investment has been used to grow its engineering and customer success teams, enabling product development and a broader reach. With solid revenue growth and an expanding global footprint, Mirakl seems set to increase its lead in the market moving forwards.
