Who you are
- Track record of delivering healthy candidate volume while maintaining a high degree of responsiveness and care to each stakeholder and candidate in the process
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships, influence, and partner effectively with hiring managers and leaders
- Previous experience recruiting for G&A and Operations roles
- Learn quickly and thrive in a constantly evolving environment with shifting priorities
- Strong analytical skills and ability to track metrics, draw insights, and translate them into action
- Previous experience in a full-lifecycle recruiting position, working on a variety of requisitions at once in a high growth tech company

- Our ideal candidate is someone with strong G&A and Operations recruiting experience who is able to find passive candidates, build strong relationships and be a brand ambassador for Flock
- The First 30 Days
- Establish relationships with your hiring partners and teammates
- Effectively communicate with your hiring partners to understand the roles you are hiring for and the candidate profile
- Become an expert in our ATS and workflows
- Hit the phones - conduct your first phone screen and become confident in how you pitch Flock Safety to candidates
- Become an ambassador of Flock and represent our brand to potential candidates
- Learn to pitch our compensation philosophy to candidates
- The First 60 Days
- Be the go-to person for your hiring partners. Guide them on recruiting best practices, designing interview plans, and identifying top talent for their teams
- Be in lockstep with your HRBP to keep a pulse on the Revenue department
- Identify potential bottlenecks in our hiring process/workflow and offer solutions on how we improve
- Successfully move a candidate through our entire interview process
- Successfully manage multiple requisitions at once while maintaining a strong candidate and hiring manager experience
- 90 Days & Beyond
- Build confidence with your hiring partners in your ability to deliver top-talent
- Build a strong candidate pipeline for the roles you are assigned by creatively sourcing candidates and engaging with potential candidates through networking
- Increase candidate satisfaction by communicating regularly, being transparent, and delivering feedback

- The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field
- The Panel: Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values. Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners
- The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more
Our take
Public vehicle surveillance provides valuable insights to emergency services for the prevention of crime, but bringing information together to create leads is difficult. There's no standardised system for inter-city vehicle surveillance, and this makes it difficult for communities and law enforcement services to work together.
Flock Safety provides surveillance equipment that aims to improve the abilities of law enforcement and homeowner associations to communicate data with each other. The company focuses on vehicle surveillance, innovating on existing technology by using machine learning to categorise vehicles by color, license plate, state, and other data points.
Whilst automated surveillance equipment is used daily within federal police forces, Flock Safety builds technology systems that provide a means for smaller law enforcement agencies to quantify and share surveillance data easily. It's caught on too, with a funding round of $275 million awarded in 2025 that will be used to expand its manufacturing capabilities. lock Safety, a U.S. startup developing surveillance technology, has raised $275 million in new funding led by Andreessen Horowitz, as it invests in a manufacturing facility and expands into drone products, the company told Reuters. funding behind it, This data can then be automatically processed to help develop leads, a time-consuming process that would usually have to be completed manually.
