Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree required, in technical or business management fields preferred. Master’s degree is a plus
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a consumer facing, B2C organization preferred
- Experience successfully developing, implementing and evolving customer retention and expansion strategies and tactics
- You are results-oriented with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Proficiency in SQL and/or data analysis preferred
- Highly skilled at using data and analytics to inform strategic decisions, turning insights into impactful retention initiatives
- Your problem-solving skills are exceptional, allowing you to decompose complex issues and diagnose key problems effectively
- You have a strong business-minded outlook and can effectively balance user experience, commercial partner needs, and business goals
- You have a proven track record of creative abilities finding novel ways to transform the consumer experience through curiosity and continually questioning the status quo
- Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent, enabling you to engage and influence effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
What the job involves
- Design and Execute Retention Strategy and Programs: implement data-driven initiatives to increase repeat visits and purchases with focus on maximizing customer lifetime value
- Leverage data to drive retention improvements: establish and track key retention metrics, cross-team KPIs to ensure visibility and accountability for retention efforts
- Customer Insights: Identify trends, use insights to craft targeted retention initiatives that engage users. Conduct A/B testing and continuously optimize campaigns across various channels
- Leadership: lead a high performing retention-focused team to drive results: lead a cross-functional team (Lifecycle Marketing, Analytics, Product, Customer Service) to integrate retention efforts across the customer journey
- Strategic Collaboration and Roadmap Development: Work closely with key stakeholders to formulate a comprehensive retention roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market demands
- Develop Cross-Sell and Upsell Programs: Identify and implement cross-sell and upsell opportunities by developing strategies that offer additional value to customers through complementary products or services

Insurify is a company that sets out to make the process of buying car insurance easier and better suited to what the customer requires. Since its founding in 2013, the company has generated over 26 million quotes, representing over 44 million dollars saved for consumers.
Operational in all 50 US states, the platform uses artificial intelligence to sift through quotes from insurance companies to empower its customers to make sensible choices. Policies can be purchased online or over the phone, and include exclusive rates and discounts found only through Insurify.
Insurify is up against fierce competition in the insurtech industry, with other comparison-shopping sites like The Zebra, Root Insurance, and Coverhound all offering similar services. That said, the company has expanded its operations substantially in recent years, with its most recent fundraise cited to support acquisitions (it has already announced plans to acquire Compare.com) as it looks to strengthen its market leadership.
