Who you are
- Sales and Community Engagement: You're comfortable selling to dental offices and engaging the hygienist community at events. Your charisma and people skills make you a natural at business development and relationship management:false:0
- Resourcefulness: You can roll-up your sleeves and proactively come up with multiple creative ways of getting the job done
- Start-Up Experience: Ideally, you've worked in a fast-growing start-up environment and understand the hustle, ambiguity, and dynamism it entails. Experience in the health or dental industries would be an asset, though it's not a prerequisite
- Potential and Drive: Rather than focusing solely on past experiences, we're seeking someone who showcases enormous potential and a willingness to put in the hard, rewarding work. You're prepared for long hours and are driven by the desire to make a significant impact
- Mobility: Availability to travel to client sites in your local area and within your state
What the job involves
- Business Relationship Building: Build new relationships between Teero Dental and dental practices. Prospect, qualify, follow up, and educate cold leads into prospects through different channels:0
- Ownership of the full sales cycle: Take ownership of the sales process from lead generation to closing. Proactively manage your pipeline by documenting and tracking progress, and defining next steps
- Perfect the pitch: Refine your sales pitch based on how prospects react to it. Write and rewrite the sales playbook along with us
- Independence and Flexibility: Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals. Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities typical of an early stage startup
Our take
Teero is the latest of the growing number of technology companies seeking to upgrade the way companies find and acquire talent in the $200B recruiting market.
While other companies have sought to optimise channels like job listing websites, Teero is instead focusing on top of funnel talent acquisition through the power of private networks.
In 2022 Teero Dental launched its dental marketplace product. This provides flexible staffing and incentivizes enterprises by allowing anyone in a dental company's network, not just their employees, to help that company find and acquire talent.
While the startup has competition in the form of a Berlin-based startup, Tacit, it already impressively has acquired clients like Uber Eats, Klarna, and some YC-backed startups. Teero has enjoyed a second round of funding and is expanding across the US.
