Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for an incredibly high trust, high initiative individual with top tier attention to detail
- 5+ years of experience in an operational role: including (but not limited to) experience as an executive assistant or project manager
- Thrives in creating order out of chaos; has a knack for organization and building systems and processes
- Has an eye for spotting inefficiency and the initiative to build a better solution in its place
- Great attention to detail
- High discretion, can be trusted with confidential company information
- Genuine interest in building a better internet!
What the job involves
- As Executive Operations at the Browser Company you will be the backbone of our company’s day-to-day operations with roles and responsibilities ranging from managing HR processes to direct executive support
- This role sits on the CEO’s team reporting directly into Strategy and Operations
- We see optionality to grow into a people and/or operations role, or advance on the EA track as is the best fit
- This role will span three main pillars:
- 1) Executive Support
- 2) Business Admin
- 3) Office Management
Our take
Web browsers enable people to access all that they want from the internet. However, this tool is often ignored, and despite all the changes to other software over the years, it has remained relatively unchanged. The Browser Company delivers Arc and Dia - new web browsers designed to be faster as well as more personal, focused and creative than traditional options.
Founded in 2019, The Browser Company sees an opportunity to create a browser that excites. Brand dedication for the more common browsers is limited, as they are designed to act in the background. Instead, The Browser Company wants Arc and Dia to act intelligently, visibly overcoming problems like overwhelming hits, online distraction and information being hidden under irrelevant results.
Its competitors of course include some of the biggest names in tech, but it hopes to stand out with a browser that is dramatically new and more powerful, which will earn its own unique space in the market. Arc was released for mobile and Windows in 2024, followed by the AI-focussed Dia in 2025, and they have so-far been met with positive reviews.
