Role
Who you are
- You ideally have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working in software development (in any high level language)
- You have experience working on SaaS applications in particular user authentication or billing
- You have the experience that ranges from early-stage start-ups to bigger, well-established organizations
- You can work cross-stack
- You like to take ownership of features and execute from planning to production
- You are very pragmatic in your approach and you don't over-engineer
- You have strong CS fundamentals
- You are very good at profiling and debugging performance issues
- A good level of spoken and written English is required
What the job involves
- As a member of our Platform team, you will be actively involved in optimizing our platform and driving growth
- You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing user onboarding strategies, ensuring that users have a seamless and positive experience when joining our platform
- Your responsibilities will also encompass user provisioning and billing, where you will collaborate with payment integration to streamline payment processes, oversee user management and implement features to tailor experiences for different user segments
- Furthermore, your core duties will be to enhance platform security and user privacy as well as user authentication through Cognito, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Your expertise in API key management will be crucial in safeguarding our services and protecting sensitive data
- We have a lot of custom components and multiple layers of complexity, our product is constantly changing but if we try to sum up our stack:
- Frontend is TypeScript/HTML/CSS using React.js + Redux
- Backend is a mix of Python, Flask, Node.js (for real-time cooperation), and C++ components (we have our own Chromium fork for headless video rendering) that are mostly containerized with Docker, and hosted on a number of AWS services (Lambda, Fargate, EC2, EKS)
- We have a dedicated DevOps Engineering team

Notably, Prof. Matthias Niessner, one of the co-founders of the company, is behind some of the most well-recognised research projects in the field Deep Video Portraits and Face2Face. The company's intuitive interface has grown to become the #1 rated video creation platform, proving its strong ability to capitalise on the growing AI in media market – which is estimated to be worth $99.48 Billion by 2030.
