Role
Who you are
- Proven experience in developing and executing B2B marketing strategies aligned to regional sales targets in the payments, FinTech or financial services sector
- Deep understanding of demand generation tactics and pipeline acceleration strategies, including multi-channel campaign development (e.g. email, digital, events, ABM and webinars)
- Deep knowledge of the US market, including regional trends, buyer behaviour and compliance considerations
- Strong ability to design and implement upsell and cross-sell campaigns to expand existing customer relationships
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and building a healthy net-new and expansion pipeline through marketing-generated leads
- Experience working closely with regional sales teas and partner channels to align marketing efforts with revenue objectives
- Strong familiarity with lead qualification, funnel metrics and ROI tracking
- Proficient in using Salesforce and ideally Pardot to execute campaigns and measure success
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to join our team in the US!
- You will play a pivotal part in driving net new revenue growth in the Americas by generating sales opportunities from owned and partner marketing campaigns which build a healthy net pipeline
- You will work very closely with commercial teams to uncover new revenue opportunities for existing clients from upsell and cross-sell marketing campaigns in the Americas
- Developing and executing client focused go-to-market programs that build a strong pipeline
- Developing effective targeting, messaging and positioning
- Managing the discretionary marketing budget for Americas and generating positive ROI from marketing campaigns
- Creating campaign reporting dashboards in Salesforce
- Tracing the performance of marketing campaigns against pre-agreed KPIs
- Understanding challenges and requirements of target audience to amximise impact from targeted campaigns
- Agreeing sales opportunity targets from marketing campaigns with sales leadership in order to achieve the required sales pipeline coverage to hit revenue targets

Embedded banking, or Banking-as-a-Service, has been a major driver of the fintech explosion. It allows challengers and smaller players to rapidly incorporate novel financial products and infrastructure without building from scratch - and major players to keep pace with increasing consumer demand for fintech services. Thredd (formerly Global Processing Services) focuses on paytech, with a tranche of services including major areas like payments, wallets, fraud prevention, and crypto management.
This diverse offering across high-growth fintech sectors has helped Thredd draw in hefty funding, and key clients across the key fintech markets of Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, including Revolut, Curve, Cape, and Starling Bank.
This shows quite how far Thredd has managed to capture significant market penetration, which has given it the resources to continue building out key new products. With more non-fintech businesses looking to leverage the benefits of embedded banking, this could see Thredd expand into further markets such as insurance and loans. Certainly, Thredd has both the momentum and the valuation to take the plunge into other lucrative verticals.
