Role
Who you are
- A track record of success in selling Cybersecurity software solutions
- Entrepreneurial mindset and understanding of the ecosystem we live in
- Experience covering the whole sales process from prospection to signature
- Experience with sales methodologies like MEDDIC/MEDDPICC
- The ability to build relationships and credibility with both SOC Managers/analysts, DevOps, SecOps, Risk Managers, and C-level Executives alike
- Predictability and accurate forecasting capabilities
- Fluency in English and at least a second language, supplementary languages are considered a plus
- Experience working with at least one of the following sectors: Financial, Insurance, PSP’s, Cybersecurity
- You are a confident and polished communicator who is able to build strong and lasting relationships
- Even if not experienced, you are interested in cybersecurity topics
- You are autonomous, do not hesitate to share new ideas with the team, and are genuinely interested in learning your customer's needs

- Knowledge of the open-software landscape

What the job involves
- As an Account Executive / AE, you will work with the Sales team to help them scale, create and interact with new contacts, convert them to Leads, and take the accounts to signature
- This will be done in interaction with the Marketing and Support teams, in order to ensure the most pleasant customer journey
Our take
Crowdsec’s founders were working in high security hosting when one of their clients became under attack. The hacker used more than 3,000 IP addresses in order to attack the website and they realised that if they share these IPs around, the hacker’s operations would weaken.
Organizing a sort of Internet neighbourhood watch, French-founded Crowdsec is a cyber threat intelligence (CTI) solution. It is considered revolutionary in its field for the collaborative nature of its open-source solution that leverages its user base to detect attacks and create a database of malicious IP addresses for the rest of the community to block.
The company recently raised series A funding, which is being invested into developing its technical stack, accelerating revenues, and expanding its U.S operations. Whilst its community spans nearly 200 countries with users including governments, eCommerce actors, and media and financial institutions, it has ambitious plans to see further uptake of its service.
