Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College
- 4+ years of experience in Search Engine Optimization roles
- Metrics-driven and ability to create reports tracking and analyzing SEO performance
- Experience in SEO/Analytics tools such as: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, SEMRush, AHREFs, Screaming Frog, etc
- Great at keyword research and discovering new opportunities to drive traffic
- Understanding of how site architecture affects SEO
- Understanding of the components of Core Web Vitals, their effect on SEO, and how to improve them
- Experience creating detailed user stories and product specifications for development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and action oriented
- Experience with A/B Testing tools & software
- Deep knowledge of CMS Systems: Webflow, Wordpress, Drupal, etc
What the job involves
- Serve as our in-house SEO expert
- Continually audit sites and performance to identify areas needing SEO improvements
- Prioritize SEO initiatives and execute on an SEO roadmap
- Write product stories, join grooming sessions, and provide guidance throughout implementation
- Build on the current SEO strategy and roadmap and own the execution
- Develop and monitor site analytics reports, perform tests, and track effect on KPIs
- Work closely with product management, developers, marketing, and content partners to drive traffic generating initiatives across the organization
- Manage and Partner with SEO Agency
- Help align SEO work between content, digital, web, and campaigns teams
- Translate SEO data into actionable insights for content, ads, and webpages
- Share SEO “thought leadership” algorithm updates and on-going best practices
Our take
Cybersecurity remains an ongoing battle, with evolving cyberthreats and ever-more determined cybercriminals, and major data breaches such as the SolarWinds hack have the potential to cause widespread disruption. This makes it easier to guard companies from security breaches, and contain any breaches that occur.
Detection of viruses is no longer considered sufficient to keep companies and individuals safe. Illumio takes a “zero trust” approach, in which everything is viewed as suspicious, a similar approach to that which is used by the White House. The company operates at the cutting edge of microsegmentation, focusing on protecting cloud datacenters and workloads. With more and more companies moving to the cloud, this approach is crucial.
Illumio also protects endpoints, partnering with big players such as Citrix, Amazon Web Services, and Splunk. A collaboration with Appgate, a Zero Trust secure access company, delivers the industry's first integrated Zero Trust Network Access and Segmentation solution, which can reduce risk across hybrid infrastructure, and proves Illumio's dedication to innovating the space. Additionally, the company announced a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), that is tailored to assist federal agencies in reducing risk.
