Role
Who you are
- If you’re excited by data and games, this is the role for you
- At least 2-3 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within a gaming environment
- Proficient in SQL and Python (or R) for data exploration and analysis
- Strong experience with A/B testing and applied statistics (bonus if familiar with Bayesian statistics)
- Experience building dashboards using tools like Metabase, Looker, or Tableau
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
- A fast learner, able to balance immediate needs with long-term projects
- A collaborative team player, comfortable working with cross-functional teams
What the job involves
- We are looking for a talented Game Data Analyst to join our dynamic analytics team
- You'll work closely with game teams, using data to drive player retention, improve monetization strategies, and optimize user experience
- You’ll collaborate with game development teams to analyze player behavior, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive game performance and player engagement
- You’ll create dashboards and visualizations that support key business decisions by presenting clear and data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders
- You’ll design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to measure the effectiveness of new game features and mechanics
- You’ll work on projects related to the blockchain, analyzing how players engage with decentralized features and in-game economies
- You’ll contribute to advanced analytics projects, including game economy analysis, to enhance monetization strategies and game progression
- You’ll build out new ways to map in-game events, such as stunts, crashes, and progression to optimize player experience
- You’ll continuously drive data literacy within the company, helping stakeholders leverage data effectively for decision-making
- You’ll be able to make an impact, to work closely with the rest of the team and its leads to work on one of the most promising upcoming games in the mobile gaming industry and the Web3 space

Our take
Merging the worlds of decentralised marketplaces and gaming, Gameplay Galaxy is a company leveraging in-store purchases to create a Web3 ecosystem within immersive mobile games. Its first game, Trial Xtreme Freedom, is a Web3 sequel to the founders previous game Trial Xtreme - which achieved 250 million downloads worldwide.
Whilst blockchain and NFT purchases within games can be met with some criticism, Gameplay Galaxy leverages the new technology to enhance gameplay, providing players with the opportunity to be a part of Trial Xtreme Freedom’s evolution. Users can help create new race tracks and obstacles that can be played by other players, aiming to offer an ecosystem that develops with its user base.
The founders have a proven track record in the gaming industry, having previously co-founded Demedya (which was behind Trial Xtreme Freedom’s predecessor). The company’s user-first approach to building mobile games has helped it achieve substantial seed funding, which will accelerate the development of its debut product.
