Role
Who you are
- We are looking for talented engineers with experience in full stack application development
- We have multiple Full Stack roles open for all levels of seniority, from mid-level to lead
- Experience in software engineering and modern web technologies
- Experience working with React, Typescript, CSS
- Experience working with one of Python, C++, Go
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
- Experience collaborating closely with Design and Product to rapidly iterate on products

Desirable
- Experience working with autonomous vehicle systems or simulation software

What the job involves
- As a full stack engineer, you'll be working on our applications and helping ensure they are usable, well-engineered, performant, and thoughtfully written
- At Applied Intuition, engineers take ownership over technical and product decisions & interact closely with users to deliver stellar features
- Full stack engineers at Applied Intuition collaborate closely with our Design and Product teams to make delightful products that move Autonomy development forward
- Our products span the domains of sensor simulation, planning simulation, drive management, and mapping
- Our users are controls, planning, behavior, and perception engineers at leading AV companies or work in validation, testing, and safety groups
- The Applied Intuition product suite is powered by state-of-the-art web technologies, and are critical to the success of our clients' day-to-day operations
- Build and drive new product features from inception to launch
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to the product surface area
- Design large scalable systems within a team of talented engineers
- Collaborate with the Design and Product team to ship complex features and delightful interfaces
- Maintain and develop a culture of engineering excellence for the product and codebase

Autonomous vehicles present a lot of challenging problems to engineers, particularly in terms of safety and reliability, and testing and development can be infamously slow. Applied Intuition provides software to run simulations and tests for autonomous vehicles more quickly and effectively, speeding up the development and launch of AVs for multiple industries.
With big companies such as Tesla and Google focused on developing automation, Applied Intuition has the scope to provide the software that makes it a reality. The company’s suite of simulation, validation, and drive log management software aids in the more efficient deployment of autonomous vehicles, with companies such as Toyota, Nissan, and General Motors relying on its solutions.
As the autonomous vehicles market accelerates, Applied Intuition is well set for growth, especially as it continues to expand its capabilities. Notable developments include the acquisitions of CarSim, Scenebox and Embark Trucks, as well as partnerships with AMBA and Valeo. All these efforts seek to bolster the company's offering towards supporting the faster and safer deployment of AVs.
