Role

Who you are

  • This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution and requires strong expertise in CRM platforms, B2C engagement, and customer-centric marketing
  • Project management skills: Hard and soft skills incl. Cross-functional work experience and project management tooling
  • Very good understanding of our CRM tech stack, including Braze
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis
  • Fluent English mandatory
  • Successfully executed diverse CRM automation projects
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CRM management and technology, with a proven track record of implementing and optimizing CRM solutions
  • Travel or B2C lead conversion is a bonus

What the job involves

  • As a Senior CRM Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing CRM strategies that deepen customer relationships, enhance retention, and drive revenue growth
  • You’ll lead lifecycle marketing efforts across the entire customer journey, using data-driven insights to deliver personalized, high-impact communications at every touchpoint
  • Design and execute a customer-first CRM strategy that strengthens engagement, drives loyalty, and maximizes customer lifetime value across Omio’s global user base
  • Own and optimize all CRM channels, starting with email automation and expanding into push, in-app messaging, and product notifications to deliver relevant, timely travel communications
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Brand, and Design to ensure CRM initiatives align with business goals and deliver meaningful value to travelers at every touchpoint
  • Track, analyze, and report on key CRM metrics such as open rates, CTR, conversion, engagement, and retention. Use data to continuously refine strategies and demonstrate impact on core business objectives
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of lifecycle and campaign initiatives, leveraging smart segmentation, dynamic personalization, and A/B testing to boost performance. Collaborate with the B2C content and creative teams to ensure brand-consistent messaging across all CRM channels and customer touchpoints
  • Deliver regular insights and performance updates to senior stakeholders, highlighting wins, learnings, and opportunities for further growth

The internet has made traveling extremely easy in comparison to the past, with information on most public transport methods and routes being available online. Despite this abundance of information, complex trips often require research and fare comparison across many different websites, a process that calls for a more integrated solution.

Omio provides a universal travel comparison tool for trains, buses, flights, ferries, and airport transfers across over 1,000 worldwide travel partners. Whilst there are many existing comparison platforms for specific transport methods such as Skyscanner for flights and TheTrainLine for buses, Omio has taken a unique approach by providing information on all major public transport methods within an integrated app. Furthermore, the company’s inspiration magazine The Window Seat and mobile application contribute towards an end-to-end travel assistant that stands out from competitors.

In 2024, the company raised debt funding to revive temporarily put-on hold global expansion activities, including through strategic mergers and acquisitions. While it has re-approached earlier expansion plans, the company is doing so with greater discipline, with plans to expand into Southeast Asia in 2025.
