Who you are
- 6+ years experience in product management, product Marketing, or equivalent experience in a technology context
- Demonstrated track record in crafting technical product positioning, messaging, content and programs
- Strong consensus and relationship-building skills, with experience marshaling resources across different functions of an organization
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and detail-oriented
- Exceptional verbal, written communication skills, presentation and public speaking skills
- Comfortable with communicating complex ideas clearly regardless of the audience
- Comfortable with ambiguity, and possess a hunger to learn and seek new challenges
- Experience in high growth / pre-IPO Technology companies is a plus as is working in an agile working methodologies
- Promoting, maintaining and enhancing our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion and leadership
- Exhibiting a strong passion for learning our products and markets through in-house and external training
What the job involves
- Reports To: VP, Product
- As the Product Manager, Developer Relations you will be responsible for Prove’s strategy to better serve, and therefore capture more business directly from the developer persona using our self-service tools
- You will be empowered to create and execute on the roadmap and backlog of our self-service portal as well as, by partnering with our amazing Product Marketing team, our developer persona go-to-market motion
- We want Prove to be known as a powerful, modern and simple brand to work with and your role will be key to making that happen
- Day-to-day you will be working on developing our product strategy, a roadmap as well as authoring product specifications and attending scrum meetings with your engineering partners
- This role is also responsible for ensuring our go-to-market activities and materials related to our developer persona are of the highest quality and perform to or exceed expectations on delivering new business
- This individual works with cross functional teams including Finance, Technology, Sales, Data Engineering, compliance, Info sec, Implementation, Operations and other product managers to ensure that Prove consistently delivers and communicates excellence to our developer market
- Maintain, communicate and execute on a product strategy that will deliver strong revenue growth for our direct-to-developer channel
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product life cycle, including product and market research, planning, positioning, requirements, roadmap development and product launch
- Manage enhancements & partner with the Portal engineering team to review backlog, writing stories that meet requirements, and ensure accurate and timely delivery while attending scrum meetings
- Work with your engineering team and with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Information Security to ensure the solution meets all necessary risk & regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and set realistic expectations
- Performing other duties as assigned
