What the job involves

The MoneyLion’s Summer Internship is a 10-week program that kicks off June, 2024.
The program provides selected candidates the opportunity to explore what it's like to work at a leading Fintech organization
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in sales, marketing, or analytics.
The intern will work closely with experienced sales professionals, gain valuable insights into the sales process, and develop skills that can help them succeed in a variety of business roles.
Analytical Review: The intern will be responsible for assisting in the analytical review of team performance and revenue. This includes tracking sales metrics, analyzing sales data, and identifying trends and insights that can help improve team performance
Reporting: The intern will be responsible for generating reports on sales performance and revenue trends. The reports should be clear, accurate, and easy to understand, and they should provide insights that can inform decision-making
Process Improvement: The intern will work with the sales team to identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency. This includes suggesting new tools or technologies that can help automate tasks, streamline workflows, and improve productivity
Prospecting: The intern will assist the sales team in prospecting by researching potential leads, identifying key decision-makers, and developing targeted messaging. This includes using a variety of tools and resources, such as social media, online databases, and industry publications
Training and Development: The intern will work with the sales team to develop training materials and resources that can help improve sales skills and techniques. This includes creating presentations, videos, and other learning aids that can help sales reps stay up-to-date on best practices and industry trends

Whilst legacy banks have traditionally been focused on a specific service within the financial industry, MoneyLion has built a full-service digital platform to deliver mobile banking, lending, and investment solutions. From their app, users can get a complete overview of their financial lives.

It is a neobank on the rise. Since its launch in 2013, MoneyLion has signed up nearly 8 million users, doubled its revenue between 2020-2021 and acquired a stake in digital asset settlement provider Zero Hash, adding crypto-based investing to their platform.

However, this is a highly competitive industry and one that in the first quarter of 2023, was highly volatile. MoneyLion also has big competition against the likes of Chime, Revolut, and RobinHood. Whilst competitive and operating within an evolving space, MoneyLion is continuing on a strong path through its marketplace strategy, matching members with partner brands and saw an increase in revenue through 2023.
