Role
Who you are
- You're planning to continue your studies for a minimum of one more year
- You’re proficient in at least one high-level scripting language, such as C#, Python, or JavaScript
- You’re a go-getter who takes the initiative and isn’t afraid to jump in with both feet
- Do you have experience with Selenium WebDriver or similar test automation tools like WebdriverIO or TestComplete? That's perfect!
- You’re familiar with Docker and DevOps practices, or eager to learn more about them
- If you have experience with CAD tools, that’s a great bonus

What the job involves
- Join us as a QA Working Student, where you’ll have the chance to break things on purpose — just to make them better!
- Join our dynamic Chaotic Chimeras team, where you'll work side by side with Developers, UX Engineers, and DevOps Engineers
- Imagine having the freedom to shape the automated testing strategy for Synera Run — your ideas will directly influence our product’s success!

- What a week at Synera could look like:
- Monday is a busy day with lectures, so you’ll focus on your studies and won’t be working. We understand the importance of balancing work and academics
- On Tuesday, you'll kick off your day with a daily stand-up, catching up with the team and setting your goals. You’ll dive into backlog refinement, helping to shape user stories and requirements for the sprint
- Wednesday is a hands-on day, where you'll write automated tests for the acceptance criteria
- You work half a day on Thursday, after participating in the seminar at the university. When you're done, you check the recording of the Sprint Review to see the impact of your work and continue writing automated tests
- On Friday you’ll investigate any bugs reported throughout the week, and wrap up with some team initiatives, learning new skills and sharing knowledge with your teammates
- Within the first 3 to 9 months you will..
- Discover the QA world of Synera, while learning and applying new techniques and tools
- Collaborate closely with team members to share knowledge, refine processes, and drive collective success
- Focus on test automation to reduce the time for manual test cases
- Ensure the test pipeline for Synera Run is fully operational and effectively covers all major features
- Expand the Synera Run test pipeline to run seamlessly across multiple environments, enhancing its robustness and reliability
- You'll have the opportunity to influence the direction of specific QA processes, allowing you to make an impact and bring your ideas to the table!
