What the job involves
- We approach Design at LemFi the same way we approach everything else: we love building great products, delighting our customers, and turning complexity into simple, beautiful solutions that solve real needs
- Our Design team takes a holistic view of the customer experience. We’re looking for a Product Designer to lead the design process from discovery to delivery, always focusing on customer value and thoughtful execution
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and others to define customer and business problems
- Own Project Metrics: Identify key success metrics and take responsibility for achieving them
- Drive Research & Insights: Conduct research, gather learnings, and inform solutions for complex goals such as new territories or new features
- Design End-to-End Solutions: Create simple, elegant designs—from wireframes to end-to-end flows, prototypes, and polished visuals
- Run Testing Workshops: Lead customer testing and guerrilla research to validate ideas
- Work Closely with Engineering: Implement designs with technical teams and present work during design reviews
- Improve Post-Release: Review performance after launch, gather insights, and refine the experience

By offering quick onboarding and a multi-currency offering, LemFi allows its users to send, receive, hold, convert, and save in both their country of origin and residence currencies.
Recognizing the limitations faced by traditional banks and neo-banks, LemFi offers instant international transfers at favorable exchange rates with no transfer fees. Initially launched in Canada, growing demand for the company's services has allowed it to expand to the UK, and broaden its African payment channels.
The company has secured good funding from prominent investors like Y-Combinator, Zrosk, Global Founders Capital, and Olive Tree. With plans to expand its product offering across the globe, LemFi will further its mission of providing accessible and transparent financial services to migrant communities worldwide.
