Who you are
- We’re looking for a goal-oriented, coachable, and self-motivated person who is passionate about showcasing how CreatorU can add value to our top prospects’ business
- Entry Level Position, 1-2 years experience in Sales OR Customer Service Role a plus
- A "whatever it takes," attitude and passion for sales
- A capable user of technology (Email marketing, CRM, business apps, etc.)
- SaaS knowledge or sales experience is a HUGE plus
What the job involves
- SamCart supports digital creators along with two other product lines: Typeset and CreatorU
- Typeset focuses on helping creators build digital products through a generative AI platform, while CreatorU supports creators by providing resources on how to build your product and your business with online courses as well as group and one-on-one coaching sessions for how to get your business up and running
- With growth on the CreatorU Team, we are looking to hire a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our CreatorU team
- As a Sales Development Representative, you will be prospecting accounts to secure meetings, and to identify and qualify sales opportunities
- Being a part of CreatorU’s SDR team will allow you to have a major impact on the company’s success and our customers’ success
- You will be on the frontlines of sales at CreatorU, acting as the first human contact for our prospects

- Drive growth through high-volume, fast-paced sales through outbound leads
- Prospect leads and accounts
- Cold outreach - 100+ outbound activities per day
- Conduct discovery calls and qualify leads for the Account Executive team
- Qualify 80+ leads each month to our CreatorU Sales Team
- Utilize CRM systems to accurately track and share progress and performance towards goals
- Continually create the best customer experience in the industry as we pride ourselves on being #1 in customer servic
Our take
The creator market is estimated to be worth well over $100B - and it’s growing fast. With the rise of eCommerce fuelling independent brands, and more people turning to this as a career avenue over recent years, demand is up for tools to support the industry. And SamCart is offering plenty of them.
The SamCart platform provides a wealth of eCommerce tools to help its over 75,000 creator customers set up a website, improve conversion rates and customer value, and operate and scale their businesses. It also offers business education in the form of CreatorU, an online library of business training content.
Importantly, this helps sellers operate independently of eCommerce giants like Etsy and Amazon - and SamCart doesn’t take a percentage of sales in return. This could see SamCart siphon off customers dissatisfied with the giants, whose practices increasingly cater towards larger brands.
So, SamCart has been slowly building out what could prove a huge contender to these major eCommerce rivals. Certainly, the rapid expansion of tools (including support for video course creators) demonstrates a market savvy and agility which will help it compete as the creator market grows.
