Role
Who you are
- Being product minded and eager to have a deep understanding of the business logic throughout the platform
- Detail oriented with the ability to identify even subtle inconsistencies, especially relating to user experience with the platform
- Understanding security implications of certain functionality in order to plan and pressure test relevant aspects of the implementation (file uploads, XSS, SQL injections)
- Cross browser and cross device testing
- API testing
- Proven track record of playing an active role or being in charge of testing processes
- Input on acceptance criteria per each ticket
- Management of releases and hot fixes testing
- Management of regression testing scope
- Maintenance of general configuration requirements for each round alongside of permanent setup
- Process to collect evidence of each testing round
Desirable
- Have experience with test management tools like BrowserStack, Xray, TestRail etc
- Have experience in Rails / React stack (web, background jobs, SPA / PWA)
- Understand how RDBMS operate and their key principles
- Have general knowledge and experience with
- Azure and AWS cloud services
- Github Actions and CircleCI
- Exception tracking services
- Monitoring services incl. RUM
What the job involves
- This role will suit well an entrepreneurial QA engineer who wants to own and build a function. You will own the full cycle QA process at Quorso
- Own testing activities across the Quorso platform
- Together with the team manage the scope of each testing round
- Recurrent release candidates and hot fixes testing
- Define and maintain the scope of regression testing, as well as general configuration to perform each round of testing
- Maintain test setups to go in line with the current state of the platform
- Become subject matter expert of our platform
- Triage and manage issues reported from production
- Close collaboration with engineering, PM and design teams
