Role
Who you are
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in a Growth role, preferably in a subscription business
- Deep knowledge of growth experimentation tactics, with a strong understanding of the customer journey, and a proven track record of driving subscriber growth and retention
- Strong proficiency in data analytics, A/B testing, experimentation, and funnel optimization
- Experience working with loyalty programs
- Experience in user onboarding and education strategies
- Knowledge of product management frameworks and their practical applications
- Familiarity with user experience best practices, with a keen eye for intuitive design and user journeys. Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills

- We are seeking a talented Lead Product Manager to join our Growth product team, a role that sits at the core of our subscription-based business
- This crucial role focuses on refining our funnel strategies to boost subscriber acquisition and reduce churn
- The successful candidate will leverage deep understanding of data-driven experimentation, user behavior and market trends to implement effective growth tactics and retention mechanisms
- Your efforts will directly impact our customer experience and business results, reaffirming our commitment to offering the best subscription service to inspire the world through stories and knowledge
- Lead the development and execution of product strategy and vision to increase subscription growth and improve retention rates, leveraging insights into customer behavior and market trends
- Continuously optimize the subscription journey, identifying pain points and opportunities to improve the user experience and increase conversion
- Leverage data and analytics to guide decisions, identify growth opportunities, and establish clear success metrics
- Drive product strategy in ambiguous settings, employing product management frameworks to clarify objectives, mediate diverse viewpoints, and propel product growth and user engagement
- Understand customer needs and behaviors by conducting research, data analysis, and usability testing to inform strategies to reduce friction along the key steps of customer journey
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Analytics, Product Marketing, Engineering and Customer Service teams

The world's biggest site for social reading and publishing, Scribd's website has over 250 million unique visitors each month and a vast content library, consisting of over 200 million audiobooks, magazines, ebooks and newspapers as well as media created by the Scribd community.
While Scribd is the largest social reading site, it is not alone in offering this kind of media. It competes against some major players, the largest of which are Amazon's Kindle and Audible offerings, but also includes the likes of BookMate and the non-profit Internet Archive. Where it stands aside is in its feature-rich reader and the sheer diversity of its library, which, thanks to partnerships with several major publishers, features numerous popular titles as well as a range of independent creators.
Further differentiating it from competitors, the company taken a firm stand on social issues, in particular the recent wave of book bannings taking place across the United States. By making the banned titles freely available it hopes to do its part in preserving literary freedom. With this tendency showing no signs of slowing down, Scribd's intervention in this area could prove to be important.
