Who you are
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or Management
- 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or Salesforce, preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in different time zones or without immediate supervision
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities independently
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
What the job involves
- As an Accounts Receivable & Collections Assistant at Locus, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations that power our global growth. In this position, you will ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and a positive customer experience
- This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance while learning from an experienced, highly collaborative team and to take on additional responsibilities as the business continues to scale
- Generate and issue accurate customer invoices using billing systems, ensuring timely and compliant billing practices
- Maintain and record new customer contracts, billing terms, and revenue recognition schedules in accordance with company policies
- Prepare and distribute customer account statements, proactively addressing discrepancies and inquiries
- Lead collections activities by monitoring aging reports, preparing monthly collections summaries, and partnering closely with Locus’ Sales and Contracts teams to resolve outstanding balances
- Prepare journal entries and provide support for month-end close and reconciliation activities
- Contribute to process improvements and support ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as the business continues to scale

Locus Robotics provides automated robotic technologies for fulfilment warehouses, offering a range of different robots for different workflows. Every robot outputs data that can be tracked and analyzed, and they can be installed rapidly and scaled depending on business size.
Whilst robots in warehouses is not a new concept, they are generally limited to warehouse giants such as Amazon. Locus Robotics, however, has taken a flexible and accessible approach to its technology, aiming to increase access and affordability so that smaller businesses can scale.
Having picked over three billion items across its network of customers, the company is well established. It has also seen significant funding which has supported international expansion. In the longer term, it has plans to consider an IPO, as long as market conditions allow.
