Who you are
- Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation
Desirable
- 3 years of experience with each of the following:
- Performing financial and transaction pricing analysis for tax returns, provisions, and accompanying work papers in accordance with IRC Section 482 and OECD Guidelines
- Establishing and supporting intercompany debt arrangements in accordance with IRC Section 385 (debt capacity analysis)
- Any amount of experience with establishing and supporting intercompany cash-pooling arrangements (including design of pricing frameworks discrete IC loans, AR/Aps) in accordance with OECD Transfer Pricing Guidance on Financial Transactions
What the job involves
- Perform complex economic analyses on various international tax and transfer pricing matters as required by eBay, including restructuring, divestitures, valuations and intercompany transactions
- Perform functional analyses interviews to understand eBay’s value-chain and cross-border intercompany transactions in order to establish the appropriate transfer pricing policy that should be applied
- Prepare tested party data and related tasks and prepare preparing transfer pricing documentation reports
- Prepare market and industry research studies
- Assess eBay’s business and provide analysis and recommendations related to transfer pricing projects or issues in light of global and local-country tax and transfer pricing requirements
- Review and supervise more junior staff and provide real-time feedback
- Work with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to stakeholders
- Utilize digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements
- Collaborate with teams in tax, finance, and accounting, financial reporting, and the business to ensure effective Operational TP
- Work as a tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationship with other stakeholders outside of Tax
- Full-time telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the U.S
