Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
- Working experience on the creative format space, understanding the differences between HTML5, Image and Video formats, including CTV formats
- Proven track record of leading high-impact projects and driving user or revenue growth
- Strong leadership skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration
- Expertise in launching successful software products and features
- Background in technologically complex domains, such as digital advertising
- Proficiency in data analysis and handling large datasets
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related fields
- Ability to work from the Berlin or Helsinki office at least 3 days per week
- Excellent English and willingness plus ability to travel internationally to meet internal teams and partners
What the job involves
- As a Senior Product Manager, you will spearhead the development of our creative-centric tooling within our platform.
- Your role involves shaping the vision and execution of Smartly Creative’s Rendering platform ensuring we have solid and winning roadmap for these topics for 2026 and beyond;
- In this role, you will collaborate with the Creative PM team aligning with the owners of the tools such as Producer, Editor and External templates and the fully integrated DSPs we have. In addition, liaising with the broader PM team owning the social platforms supported by Smartly Media
- Gain deep customer insights to define product priorities and problems to solve
- Lead product discovery activities, including user research and prototype testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft product vision and roadmap
- Own the product roadmap+backlog and prioritize feature development
- Develop go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption and demand
- Conduct client workshops and presentations to showcase product capabilities
- Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment of strategy and execution

Our take
Smartly.io helps advertisers automate their campaigns across the largest media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. After seeing quick success following Facebook’s 2012 IPO, the company now works with over 700 brands including eBay, Uber, Ralph Lauren, Under Armour and TechStyle.
Its suite of tools automatically creates ads and videos from product images - handling budget allocation and audience targeting, as well as analysing where and when to purchase advertising. Consequently, Smartly.io has positioned itself to play a leading role in a market where brand and performance work are converging.
Smartly.io sold a majority stake to Providence Equity Partners in 2019 in a move to further its presence in the US. The company has since gone on to make several acquisitions of its own with Viralspace.ai and Ad-Lib.io. Smartly.io's ability to adapt to evolving advertising trends supports its continued growth, and its introduction of AI-powered intelligence across its platform shows it is keeping up with technology trends too.
