Role

Who you are

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in B2B SaaS, including at fast-growing startups (Seed to Series C)
  • Strong skillset in prospecting, including experimentation and selling an early stage company
  • Working knowledge of a technical sale and strong interest to learn the AI/ML/Data space
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build something from scratch
  • Track record of consistently exceeding quota
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment
  • High urgency to work at startup speed
  • Intrinsic desire to always be improving our product and yourself; growth mindset to both stay ahead of the curve and pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to get the job done

  • Experience in the domain or adjacencies (data science, AI, data infrastructure)
  • Have sold large multi-stakeholder deals to large enterprises
  • Have built, or know how to build a sales playbook

What the job involves

  • As Founding Account Executive, you'll work directly with the founders to spearhead our sales efforts and help define our go-to-market strategy at Delphina
  • You will be prospecting new design partners and customers and helping us build top of funnel with our target ICP customers
  • As our first sales hire, you will have a unique opportunity to shape our sales playbook as we move from founder sales to a repeatable sales process
  • You will help us experiment with different sales strategies to optimize our sales plays
  • You will be directly involved in key hires as we build out other Go-To-Market functions
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of mid-market technology companies (200-2,000 employees) with expansion into enterprise accounts in the near future
  • Developing deep relationships with data science and engineering leaders to understand their pain points and demonstrate how Delphina solves critical problems
  • Working closely with product and engineering to deliver customer feedback and insights that drive product development
  • Creating repeatable, scalable sales processes that will serve as the foundation for our growing sales organization
  • Collaborating across the company to continuously improve our value proposition and competitive positioning
