Role
Who you are
- 3 to 5 years of experience designing software products, with a compelling portfolio showcasing thoughtful, user-centered designs
- A self-starter with an owner mindset who thrives in an early-stage startup environment with ambiguity and resource constraints
- Experience building products with reusable component design across multiple applications
- Strong listening skills to capture ideas from stakeholders, engineers, and the product team
- An open mindset to feedback and the ability to take constructive criticism to improve designs
What the job involves
- We're looking for a talented Product Designer who thrives on crafting clear, user-centered solutions
- You will own the end-to-end design process, turning concepts into elegant web and iOS experiences
- You will collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional partners to define workflows, set design standards, and ensure every touchpoint is thoughtful and impactful

Our take
Around 70% of all medical decisions are based on lab results, yet 30% of all patients skip their lab orders. Getlabs is aiming to eliminate the friction causing individuals to skip blood tests, by bringing the lab to people's homes.
The company charges for drawing the labs, and a patient's insurance pays for the blood work to be processed, as it normally would. To get blood drawn at home, Getlabs charges the patient between $29-$49, up to twice the price of a normal lab test.
Getlabs was formed after its founder saw a gap in the virtual healthcare system, which is expanding rapidly - with companies like Capsule, Amazon Pharmacy and PillPack (owned by Amazon) offering prescription delivery to your door. Getlabs plans to partner fully with telemedicine services so patients never have to leave their homes - beginning with a collaboration with in-home primary care clinic Nice Healthcare and genome company Inocras.
