- You will be an experienced, top-notch partner program leader comfortable setting the program strategy as well as rolling up your sleeves to get work done - within a quickly moving organization
- You are fully familiar with leading SI/alliance/consulting partner programs and have built and evolved partner programs from scratch
- You also have deep experience with partner specializations and owning partner marketing
- A driver/leader who is able to lead complex workstreams as well as influence key stakeholders/executives via socialization
- An idea generator and executor with the best of detailed skills
- A collaborative team member, self-starter who is creative, analytically minded with a keen attention to detail
- A listener with high emotional intelligence who connects the dots and sees solutions
- Business-minded, operationally focused and have deep experience with partner program processes
- Able to work independently, network internally (and externally), able to become the trusted expert of our partner program
- Passionate about the potential of working with multiple teams across the company all working toward a common goal - using your previous expertise in managing and updating partner programs to transform our Alliances business
- Able to graciously handle tasks from administrative to extremely complex
- Highly experienced at managing teams (both outside resources/vendors as well as internal)
- Technically adept and excited to be part of a tech company
- Comfortable working independently with minimal guidance and potentially ambiguity
- 15+ years of partner program project management experience, managing cross-functional initiatives
- BA/BS in marketing or similar
- Experienced working with different levels of an organization – from executive to admin and manager
- Able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Thrive in fast-paced environment where tasks change quickly and there may be opaqueness in clarity
- Proven strength in operational process workflow experience in design and implementation
- High attention to detail
- Great teamwork, interpersonal, and customer-relations skills, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction

What the job involves
- We are looking for a seasoned SI/Alliance Partner Program strategist and executor to lead business-critical, cross-functional projects within our SI Alliance team
- Your overall mission is to ensure that the correct structure, processes, support, and communications are in place to help us deliver on our program
- As the Senior Manager/Director, Partner Programs and Marketing, you will have a broad impact on the alliance team, the Guidewire organization as well our respective SI partners through the complex initiatives you lead
- This role will report to the Senior Director, Partner Programs and Enablement
- Responsible for continuous evaluation and execution of our highly evolving global SI partner program; program has deep specialization component which you will lead/own/update
- Understand/participate in metrics component of program; twice yearly updates and compilation
- Develop and deliver regular partner communications, ensuring ongoing engagement and participation of partners; Marketo experience preferred
- Own/manage a Partner Marketing budget/plan leveraging best practices; create ROI and overall process for this workstream
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance our joint marketing plan worldwide
- Work closely with the corporate and global marketing teams to translate best practices into effective regional initiatives
- Liaise with Marketing, Operations, Sales, and other teams to ensure a delightful and unified partnering experience
- Assist with related special projects and other duties as needed
