Who you are
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master’'s degree in Business Administration, or a related field
- English (spoken and written) must be flawless when communicating with clients as fluent English will be necessary for internal communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively
- Highly motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Experience working in a customer-facing position, preferably in sales, waiting tables, bartending, retail, campus services, phone banking, or experience at a tech company or SaaS start/scale-up!
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Intern to join our dynamic team which is focused on the North American market. The role itself is based in NYC, in office 3 days a week, Tues-Thurs
- As a Sales Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of B2B software sales
- This internship will provide valuable insights into the sales process, customer relationship management and market research within the SaaS industry. This role offers an excellent learning opportunity to develop consultative sales skills and grow professionally for individuals interested in pursuing a career in sales
- This position is based in our New York office and will start in October 2026
- The Internship duration will be 1 Year (12 months)
- Work closely with Account Executives (AE) of the NA Market to manage prospects from qualified lead to closing
- Participate in and observe sales calls to gain practical knowledge about the sales process and customer interactions
- Manage customer projects during their trial period, negotiate custom offers and close deals
- Support the team in positioning and articulating the Aircall value proposition to small businesses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process
Our take
Call centres have been a mainstay of sales teams for decades, with the human touch delivering an impression conversion rate of about 30% for inbound calls. However analogue call centres are physical infrastructure-heavy and unable to take advantage of the flexibility afforded by remote and hybrid ways of work. Aircall exists to change that, providing a cloud-based call centre infrastructure that allows sales teams to work from their home offices.
Aircall isn't the only company in this space, and it faces heavy competition from Cloudtalk, another cloud-based call centre solution. However Aircall stands out in the market by its use of open APIs and webhooks, making integration with existing productivity and helpdesk tools much easier, and its superior call quality. Aircall has developed a significant customer base with these strengths, with over 20,000 companies using its platform.

With a rapidly expanding presence in the US, European, UK and Australian markets and the recent addition of AI voice agents to handle business calls 24/7, Aircall is clearly set on innovating at scale.
