What the job involves
- As a Lead Recruiter at Workstream, you will play a critical role in shaping the teams that drive our mission forward. This is a unique opportunity to report directly to and collaborate closely with our founder and CEO, gaining unparalleled exposure and impact in a dynamic, high-growth environment. This is an in-office role, requiring five days a week of on-site collaboration in Menlo Park and San Francisco, CA
- Sourcing Excellence: Strategically source and attract top-tier SaaS talent across various platforms, building strong pipelines for both active and passive candidates
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from crafting job descriptions and screening candidates to facilitating interviews and closing offers
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate closely with hiring managers and leaders across departments to understand hiring needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure alignment with company goals
- Candidate Experience: Drive a world-class candidate experience by ensuring clear communication, timely follow-ups, and a seamless hiring process
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to continuously optimize hiring strategies and demonstrate progress to stakeholders
Our take
Recruiting new staff can be a time-consuming process for HR teams; requiring them to source, screen, and communicate with every potential candidate. Whilst the process has been made easier through online job boards, this has only led to larger pools of potential candidates, putting further pressure on the workload of recruiters.
Workstream provides an hourly worker recruitment platform, focused on automating digital communication and application management with candidates to reduce workloads for recruitment teams. The platform also allows users to post open roles to over 25,000 job boards at once, in addition to automating all paperwork workflows.
Whilst the prevalence of smart recruitment platforms will present difficult competition for Workstream, the company shows the potential to disrupt the market with its automated communication, paperwork, and mass job posting capabilities. It continues to launch new products and features - such as its multilingual and customizable AI chatbot - and has raised strong capital to support accelerated expansion and the broadening of product development.
