Our take
Simvia, formerly Agriplace, delivers a platform to help buyers primarily in the agriculture space to streamline their supply chains for cost, simplicity and compliance. Granting access to a wealth of data, it empowers users to make the best choices while freeing them from lengthy research and vetting processes.
The platform features automated data collection and checks on certificates and lab analyses, with a portal for each supplier to share their documentation. On top of this, it is able to search and retrieve certificates from sources such as GLOBALG.A.P., GRASP, Tesco Nurture, SIZA, BRC and Planetproof.
These capabilities combine to make the platform a strong choice for those who want to make their processes more efficient without risking compliance. And, as the agriculture and wider consumer goods industry ramps up digital transformation, there should be a good amount of opportunity in Simvia's future.
