Role
Who you are
- 1-2 years of experience working in contract management/knowledge management or related roles
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s in Library and Information Sciences, Information Architecture (or related field) preferred
- Ability to distinguish contract types (e.g., client, vendor, contractor) and classify accordingly
- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 solutions, particularly SharePoint and MS Teams. Familiarity with Smartsheet or other project or document management tools is a plus
- Healthcare industry experience and/or an educational background in healthcare is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
What the job involves
- The Legal Contracts Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day processes associated with maintaining the firm’s primary contracts repositories, along with associated contract management workflows
- The individual will also support the management and upkeep of other knowledge management resources and tools, including but not limited to SharePoint and related Microsoft 365 solutions
- Manage day-to-day administration of contracts, proposals, and related document management libraries. Ensure all documentation is compliant with the firm’s policies and regulations
- Ensure the consistent application of enterprise taxonomy (i.e., document tagging and uploading to the various knowledge bases)
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance contract management workflows (e.g., support identification and deployment of a contract management system to regulate workflow processes) and work with Knowledge Management and Legal teams to implement new technology tools and process changes
- Answer ad hoc staff questions and provide support to staff on knowledge processes, tools, and best practices
