Who you are

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong SaaS background, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven ability to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • This role is ideal for someone who is equally motivated by building customer relationships and working cross-functionally, with the goal of maximizing revenue potential
  • 3+ years experience in B2B Account Management, Sales, or Customer Success within a SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of managing renewals and driving account expansion
  • Ability to analyze customer data and identify growth opportunities
  • A strong understanding and command of the consultative sales process
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to build processes and workflows
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and possess a growth mindset
  • Experience selling mid-market or enterprise SaaS

What the job involves

  • We are seeking a strategic and customer-focused Account Manager to drive renewals and expansion within our existing customer base
  • As the founding member of this team, this is an exciting opportunity to build, grow and lead
  • Manage Renewals & Expansion: Own the end-to-end renewal process, proactively engaging customers to ensure high retention rates while identifying and executing growth opportunities through upsells and cross-sells
  • Build Strong Customer Relationships: Craft and implement tailored account plans that maximize customer value and drive revenue expansion
  • Leverage Data & Insights: Analyze customer usage data, feedback, and market trends to inform engagement strategies, optimize contract negotiations, and strengthen customer value
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Network Success, Product and Marketing teams to enhance the customer experience, and to drive adoption and growth

Our take

The benefits of having a partner program are huge - from the increased sales growth to reaching new markets, all the while keeping costs low. At the time PartnerStack was launched, there were no Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platforms offering to pay out partners, automate emails, track more than one conversion per customer, or run more than a single partner program.

PartnerStack was built as a partnerships platform aimed at supporting B2B SaaS companies in building and scaling their partner channels. As the only PRM platform built specifically for this market segment it has proven to be popular and their client list includes Vimeo, DoorDash and Freshworks, to name a few.

Despite an impressive level of investment funding, PartnerStack struggled somewhat with the market turmoil across 2022 and 2023. After making substantial cuts to its workforce it is now better aligned for current market conditions and is well positioned to resume its growth.
