What the job involves
- We are looking to expand our US sales team by hiring an SDR to start immediately
- Currently a large portion of our pipeline is coming inbound, 75%+. This is incredibly encouraging and tells us there is a large opportunity for increasing our outbound efforts
- As an SDR at Dreamdata, it will be your role to proactively engage our ICP that has not yet "raised their hand" (requested a demo) to learn more about our offering
- You’ll be a critical member of our GTM team and be responsible for generating net new qualified pipeline, building relationships with prospects and supporting the demand generation efforts of our marketing team and Account Executives. You'll work closely with sales and marketing leadership
- This role has a distinct and specific career path: Our goal is for every SDR that works at Dreamdata to become an Account Executive within 18-24 months. You'll work closely in office with our AE team in NYC
- Your main goal will be generating qualified pipeline through the following means:
- Engaging with the right user personas in our ICP accounts via multiple means - LinkedIn, email, calling, community engagement and so on
- Becoming an expert in the marketing analytics space
- Becoming an expert on the Dreamdata product and how we help solve our customers' problems
- Testing and iterating on messaging that works
Our take
The biggest challenge facing B2B marketers is connecting their activities to revenue. With vast amounts of data available, it can be highly difficult to accurately determine where revenue is coming from, and where effort is being wasted. Dreamdata's platform provides a unique solution to this - one which it is hoping will allow it to carve a new segment of the market for itself.
A big advantage for Dreamdata is that it was first on the scene in this niche market; something which has enabled it to secure funding from an impressive list of backers - including Venture Capital and InReach Ventures. Furthermore, solutions that aid business efficiency are currently in high demand - for example, it is estimated that up to 69% of B2B ad spend is wasted on campaigns that fail to bring a return on investment. Since Dreamdata can successfully improve business efficiency, there is a big potential market for it to grow into.
Dreamdata has focused on establishing a strong client base and accelerating its product offerings, even launching a B2B alternative to Google Analytics called Digital Analytics. The company is well-positioned to see future growth and expansion as it shapes the space.
