Business Analyst, Santander

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or an equivalent field. (Required)
• Consumer operations experience, preferably in a lending/banking or financial services environment. 5+ years (Required)
• Excel (VLOOKUP, index/match, pivots, etc.) – Required
• SQL (queries, joins) – Required
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation
• Ability to drive escalation and resolution of production problems
• Understanding of technology project life cycle, the business requirements, and technical requirements documentation
• Understand the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge of successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment
• Knowledge of and ability to design, implement, and evaluate standard operating procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel usage or comparable software applications

• The Transaction Code Team is responsible for the governance, project tracking, development, implementation, and maintenance of existing and new transaction channels and types throughout the bank
• The team is cross-functional between operations, accounting/controllership, and technology and functions as a core workstream on bank-wide projects
• Executes varied and complex transactions/processes utilizing standard procedures
• Maintains and develops procedures and working documentation
• Maintains tracking for weekly and monthly governance meetings
• Partners with IT to prioritize enhancement requests
