Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven leadership experience in IT operations or infrastructure management
- 5+ years of experience managing a team, preferably in a technical or service delivery environment
- Solid understanding of systems administration, network architecture, and database management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in multicultural and global settings
- Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work on-site at our Berlin office and travel to customer location
- Due to the nature of the role and regulatory requirements for this role, only candidates who are German or EU citizens can be considered
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Technical Manager to lead our local technical operations in Germany
- Based in Berlin, this individual will be responsible for managing a small but highly skilled team of system, network, and database administrators
- The team will closely collaborate with our Global ServiceNow Team to deliver seamless IT support for our German customers
- Lead and manage a local team of 4–5 IT professionals, including system, network, and database administrators
- Act as the primary liaison between the German technical team and global ServiceNow support teams
- Ensure SLAs and performance benchmarks are met for all customer service engagements
- Maintain compliance with German and EU IT regulations and data protection laws
- Represent the Berlin office in regional and global technical leadership meetings

The company has more than 7500 customers, including 80% of the Fortune 500 list of the United States' largest corporations. ServiceNow now looks to increase its revenue threefold in upcoming years and has entered into a 5-year partnership plan with Visa, beginning with the launch of a Visa-integrated dispute resolution solution for issuers. The company is prioritising organic growth over mergers and acquisitions, with a target revenue of $15 billion, something which its Visa partnership will no doubt aid in achieving.
