Senior Data Scientist, SmartAsset

• Proficient in Python (pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, sci-kit-learn, etc) and SQL
• Knowledgeable of the best practices such as version control (git), documentation, environments, unit tests, CI/CD, and containerization
• Professional experience in collaborating with the marketing department (Portfolio Optimization, Media Mix Modeling, campaign efficiency) and into embedding insights and data products into stakeholder processes
• Experience in model deployment, e.g. MWAA + Snowflake & Tableau
• Experience leading multiple domains in a company, and in being the point of contact with external stakeholders. Able to work with cross-functional teams. Proven ROI returns for business
• Professional habits around model validation, testing, and tracking
• Ability to communicate efficiently with all types of stakeholders (from junior colleagues, to non technical stakeholders and execs.)
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience. Strong quantitative background
