Advertisement has become increasingly complicated in the last decade due to the arrival of smartphones and other mobile devices, and as a result, ad management platforms must be used in order to facilitate omnichannel campaigns. Whilst platforms already exist for ad management, existing solutions generally do not cater to omnichannel advertising, rely on cookies for personalisation, and benefit ad buyers or publishers, but not both.
Equativ provides an ad monetisation platform for both publishers and buyers, helping both parties to optimise the value of their investments across any advertisement channel. In addition to facilitating omnichannel campaign auctions, the company also uses audio recognition to personalise ads based on analysing the real-time interests of its target audiences instead of relying on cookies for information.
Equativ was formed in 2022 through the merger of Smart AdServer, DynAdmic and LiquidM. Although the companies previously worked closely together, the unification of the three organisations is expected to increase Equativ's efficiency and offer a single adtech platform for customers. With a threefold increase in revenue since between 2019 and 2022 and a fully integrated adtech stack, Equativ is clearly poised for further expansion.
