Role
Who you are
- We are seeking highly motivated university students to join our team, Customer Managed Platform
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux and/or Windows OSs. Linux is preferred
- Have good knowledge of programming in C++ focusing in the backend
- You have expertise in version control systems such as Git or similar
- Bring strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Show your enthusiasm for solving interesting problems to the team
- You enjoy collaborating with others in a fast-paced environment

- Are actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, & Mathematics or a related technical field
- Must be an undergraduate currently pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date of December 2025 - June 2026
- Are business proficient in English. Proficiency in additional European languages is highly desirable
- Located in the UK
What the job involves
- July - September 2025
- As an intern, you will work on a real project (or a few) and have an opportunity to enjoy our dynamic, startup-like environment
- You will get invaluable experience working with a globally distributed engineering team that develops and continually improves Splunk Enterprise, Splunk's core offering that collects and analyses high volumes of machine-generated data
- You will work with team members in a variety of locations, so excellent team collaboration is important
- You will experience Splunking and what defines our culture while honing the skills which separate our development teams from others
- Working to support internal and external customer needs, you will collaborate with multi-functional teams, receive mentorship, and gain insight into our values-driven process
- Our goal is both to support your growth and development while empowering you for a successful start to your career
- You will achieve goals set for you in the beginning of the internship by your mentor
- You will have the opportunity to learn Splunk, both the product and the company
- You will socialise with the other interns as well as full-timers
