Role
Who you are
- Have a Bachelors/Masters degree Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience
- Have 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience Java, Spring, and backend technologies
- Experience in Javascript HTML, CSS, and at least one modern Javascript framework (React.js or Vue.js)
- Experience with HTTP and REST API
- Experience in building application platform solutions integrating with third party applications and services
- Possess design and coding skills and understand object-oriented design
- Possess knowledge of complex workflows and develop validate innovative solutions to solve difficult problems

- You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications
- You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs
- The Web Marketing Engineering Team is responsible for delivering awesome meeting related marketing features and user experience for the customers
- The team works on the cross-module features and projects
- Joining this team you will create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure
- The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance

Our take
Zoom reworked video conferencing when most people assumed it was a solved problem, with services from Cisco and Skype already ubiquitous in workplaces and homes. However, its videoconferencing infrastructure was simpler to use, faster and more flexible than any previous solution, and it swiftly took the world by storm.
Its success bred competition, however, and companies such as Microsoft and Google, along with numerous smaller communications firms, have begun making inroads on Zoom's formerly commanding lead. Additionally, as workplaces are mostly adopting a hybrid or flexible working strategy, some of its importance as a workplace tool is wearing off and it is recording a gradual decline in daily usage rates.
To counter these trends, Zoom is expanding its business offerings through product development and strategic acquisitions. Alongside many other large tech companies, it has battled through a difficult economic situation, but it nonetheless remains a profitable company and household name. Plus, its track record of innovation means it is still very much one to watch in the communications space.
