Who you are
- The ideal candidate will be an expert in managing a multitude of accounting activities including comprehensive, large-scale financial planning, reporting, and auditing tasks
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) required; additional certifications (CMA, ACCA) are a plus
- Solid experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role (8+ years of experience in accounting)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax compliance, and financial regulations
- Experience working in a multinational or public company environment is preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced knowledge of Excel
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience driving automation and process improvements in accounting workflows and ERP systems
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Expertise in financial reporting, consolidations, and revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
- Strong communication skills and adaptability. Collaborate with FP&A, treasury, and other finance teams to align financial strategies

What the job involves
- We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax and Accounting Compliance Manager to lead our tax and accounting operations in the US
- Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of company federal and state tax returns and the accurate, timely filing of all tax forms
- Devise and execute a tax strategy for the company that helps minimize the tax burden for our U.S. entity
- Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process
- Manage and facilitate IRS and state income tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate their effects to management, and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation
- Provide support with various internal audits and special tax-related projects
- Review quarterly/yearly tax projections and tax estimates
