Our take

Pocus is part of a new wave of startups rethinking how sales teams actually work. Founded in 2021, the company is focused on solving a common problem in modern sales: reps are overwhelmed with data, tools and signals, but often lack clear direction on what to do next. So, rather than adding yet another tool to the stack, Pocus aims to act more like a decision-making layer that helps teams prioritize their time and effort more effectively.

Simply put, its an AI sales intelligence platform designed for go-to-market and revenue teams. It pulls together data from across a company's systems (think CRM, product usages, and external signals) and uses AI to identify the best opportunities and recommend specific actions. Instead of manually researching accounts or guessing who to contact, reps are guided toward the right prosects, messaging and next steps each day. The goal is to reduce time spent on admin and prospecting, and instead focus on actually closing deals.

This approach has gained the company some serious traction too. Companies like Monday.com, Canva, and LaunchDarkly all use Pocus to generate a significant share of their sales pipeline, with reps reportedly saving over 10 hours a week and producing more consistent results. As AI becomes more embedded in sales workflows, Pocus is bettering that the future isn't just better data, but clearer guidance.
