Who you are

2+ years of experience with OO Design and programming with Java or Scala
1+ years of experience working with concurrency, multithreading, server architectures, and distributed systems
2+ years of production projects involving Web Service technologies like GraphQL, JSON, XML Schema, WSDL, SOAP, REST, etc
BS or higher degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Ability to communicate design ideas using UML
Experience with GraphQL
Experience with distributed and concurrent systems; secure, fault tolerant, resilient, consistent, scalable, and predictable and the tradeoffs therein
Experience with test platforms and writing automations
Familiarity with standard development tools and processes such as source control, IDE, JUnit, debugging, profiling, JIRA, TeamCity, Crucible, etc
Willing to learn Workday proprietary technologies and frameworks
Experience developing in an Agile/Scrum environment
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
